Champagne was an engineer, and worked on the Rapidan Dam in Blue Earth County, Minnesota. The official photographer for the dam construction. Bay Weller, took the photographs with an Ansco camera. The Chapman’s New Sectional Map of Minnesota collection contains a 30” x 24” map of the Minnesota Territory dated ca. 1856. Silas Chapman published this map in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

This collection consists of items related to the Episcopal Church of the Nativity in Wells, Minnesota. The church was organized in 1870, and the first building was built in 1873. The collection consists of one volume of the parish register, 1873 - 1915, and six copied pages from the church history. This history of the church was originally constructed from pages six through eight of the register. The register contains birth and death records, along with financial information.
